Kona coffee, a famous coffee cultivated on slopes of Big Island of Hawaii. History shows that Kona coffee was originated from Brazil and appeared in the island since nineteenth century.
I believe that many of you are its aficionado. I, myself is in the group. I prefer small coffee beans types which known as the peaberry version.
Since this type of coffee is so precious, you should order only fresh coffee beans to be delivered to you. Once you get the beans, you can start grind the amount that enough for your one day consumption. This is to avoid the aroma of Kona coffee finished dissipating before you drink.
The most crucial part is do not use a coffee maker but a coffee press, which is actually a glass jar with a top piece that is connected to a plunger with a screen join to it. You may begin with coffee beans contain in the bottom part. Then pour in hot water and wait for minimum 4 minutes.
After that, the coffee can be strained and keep ground to the bottom by pushing down the plunger. Although a coffee press is cheaper but it will definitely surprise you with the excellent job.
Last but not least, you must confirm the coffee you order is 100% pure. There are other blend type coffees which only consist 90% of cheap coffee mixed. If you are first timer, I would suggest that you choose the smallest size coffee, average 8oz bag.
After you have tried it, I am sure that you will not hesitate to order more pounds of Kona coffee. But, please bear in mind that freshness should always be the top priority.
