Blood stains on carpet or upholstery can be removed using hydrogen peroxide. Pour the hydrogen peroxide on the stain and allow it to sit. Dry the area than rinse with water. Vinegar will also do the trick and is more useful for fabrics such as upholstery.

Coffee stains on fabric, upholstery or carpet can be removed using vinegar and a liquid detergent. Wet the area and apply the detergent, scrubbing gently. Let the detergent soak into the carpet and than rinse with water. Use warm water, white vinegar and sponge the area than dry with a clean cloth. You will need to wash the area again with clean water and again dry with a clean cloth. There are also many spot treatment products that are useful for coffee stains such as Oxi Clean.

Vomit requires immediate action otherwise odors can set into the padding of the carpet. Quickly remove as much of the vomit as you can without scrubbing it into the carpet. Rinse the area again with cold water. If you are still having trouble with the stain or odor pick up a commercial cleaning product like Oxi Clean.
